FERRORESONANT VS. HIGH FREQUENCY 

FERRORESONANT CHARGER

  • Copper-wound ferroresonant transformer design converts AC input power to useable DC output power to conventionally recharge a battery.

HIGH FREQUENCY CHARGER

  • State of the art MOSFET power conversion circuit accurately converts AC power to proper DC power to recharge a battery precisely and efficiently.

CONVENTION CHARGE VS. OPPORTUNITY/FAST CHARGE

CONVENTIONAL CHARGING

  • Recharging a battery from 20%-100% in 8 hours. Batteries must cool down before being used for a single shift.

OPPORTUNITY/FAST CHARGING

Recharging a battery from 30%-80% in 2 hours or less. Higher output rates allow a battery to be used for multiple shifts by charging at all breaks shift changes and any down time the forklift has. Opportunity and fast charging can be safely accomplished using the Ecotec chargers sophisticated control and BMU (Battery Monitoring Unit) to monitor battery conditions.
